State Electoral Redistribution:
The Queensland Redistribution Commission has finalised it's plans for redistribution.
Coming into effect at the 2028 state election, the election of Ipswich West will increase dramatically in size and will be home to approximately 50,549 residents by 2032.
The electorate will lose the suburbs of Chuwar, Barellan Point and Karaleeas well as parts of North Ipswich, Tivoli and Yamanto. While gaining the areas of Deeding Heights, South Ripley, Goolman, Purga, Willowbank, Ebenezer, Calvert, Mutdapilly, Mt Forbes and Lower Mt Walker.
We actively engage with residents to understand their concerns and ideas, ensuring their voices are heard in local and state and federal government.
Our commitment to the community
We support and develop policies that promote fair wages, quality education, affordable healthcare, and sustainable development for our region as we push for affordable housing for our community too.
As we grow we push for new agendas for our community as we are a fast growing area in Ipswich
